Team & School Fundraising

Turn Gear Your Team Is Already Buying Into a Fundraiser.

Skip the door-to-door sales, the candy boxes, and the wrapping paper catalogs. Set a fundraising markup on your team store and earn on every order your community was going to place anyway.

This isn't a separate program bolted onto team stores — it's a setting inside one. When you launch a team store, you can optionally add a per-item markup on top of production cost. Families buy the gear they wanted regardless; the difference is your program earns on every sale instead of running a separate fundraiser to cover the same costs.

Traditional Fundraisers Ask a Lot for What They Raise.

Most programs have tried at least one of these.

Door-to-Door Selling

Asking athletes and their families to sell to neighbors puts the burden on kids and burns goodwill fast — especially for a repeat ask, season after season.

Catalog & Order-Form Fundraisers

Paper order forms, collecting payment by hand, tracking who paid and who didn't — it's hours of volunteer time for a product nobody was excited to buy.

Thin Margins on Low-Value Items

Wrapping paper and candy bars typically return a small cut of the sale price after the vendor's share — a lot of asking for a modest result.

A Separate Ask From the Gear Order

Your program is already asking families to buy practice gear. Running a second, unrelated fundraiser on top of that is a second ask on the same wallets.

A gear-based fundraiser sells something your community already wants — and skips everything below.

How the Markup Works

It's a setting on your team store, not a separate system to manage.

You set the markup

Tell us the per-item amount or percentage you'd like added on top of production cost. You control the number — we don't set it for you.

Families shop like normal

Your store looks and works exactly like a standard team store. Buyers see one price and check out online — no separate fundraising step for them to navigate.

We track the markup on every order

Your fundraising total is tracked automatically against every sale placed through your store — no spreadsheet, no manual reconciliation.

You get a check at the end of your window

When your store's ordering window closes (or on the schedule you choose for an always-open store), we send your program a check for the total markup collected.

What Changes vs. a Traditional Fundraiser

One ask, not two

Families place a single order for gear they already wanted — your program earns on it without a separate fundraising pitch.

No door-to-door selling

Nobody has to ask neighbors or relatives to buy something. The store link goes out; people order if they want to.

No inventory or upfront cost

Nothing is pre-purchased by your program. Every item is produced to order after it's paid for.

No cash or check collection

Orders and payment happen online. Your volunteers aren't handling money or chasing down who still owes.

Set Up in Three Steps

The fundraising markup is one field in a form you're already filling out to launch your team store.

  1. Tell Us About Your Program

Your team or school name, sport, colors, and logo — the same information needed to launch any team store.

  2. Set Your Fundraising Markup

Let us know the per-item amount you'd like to add. We'll build it into your store's pricing before it goes live for review.

  3. Share the Link and Get Your Check

Send the store link to your community. When your ordering window closes, your program receives a check for the total markup collected.

Honest About Where We Are

We're new to fundraising stores. The production behind them isn't.

Fundraising markups run through the same team store and production system as every other TeamPracticeGear order — built on Strive-To-Be Custom Screen Printing's existing operation. We'd rather be upfront that this is a new offering than post reviews we haven't earned yet.

  • Markup is a setting on a working team store system, not a new platform
  • Produced by Strive-To-Be Custom Screen Printing — real quality control
  • No upfront cost, no inventory, tracked automatically on every order

Fundraising Questions, Answered

Is there a cost to add fundraising to our store?

No. Setting a markup doesn't cost anything to configure — it simply adjusts the price families see at checkout.

How much can we mark items up?

You choose the amount. We'll talk through what's reasonable for your gear and price point so the store still sells well, but the decision is yours.

When do we get paid?

At the end of your store's ordering window, or on a recurring schedule if you run an always-open store. We'll agree on the schedule when we set up your store.

Do we have to run a fundraiser to use TeamPracticeGear?

No — the markup is entirely optional. Most team stores run with no markup at all. Add one only if your program wants to fundraise.

Can booster clubs and PTOs use this too?

Yes. If you're a booster club or parent organization specifically, see our Booster Clubs page for a program built around that audience — the fundraising markup described here works the same way for any team store.

Can we change the markup after the store is live?

Yes. Reach out to our team and we can adjust it for future orders.
